How it fits together

One employer, six connected steps.

Pick a step to see what happens, what information moves and who does what. Every service stays a separate decision, so the client buys only what fits.

  1. 1 Employer client
  2. 2 CFO oversight
  3. 3 HR & payroll (PEO)
  4. 4 Insurance & safety
  5. 5 Technology partners
  6. 6 RWA tokenization via RJEC
1 Employer client: start with the business

What happens

The owner describes the business: its people, operating costs and current systems. Nothing gets bought at this stage.

What data flows

A plain description of the shop: headcount, the states people work in, current payroll and insurance arrangements, and whether it runs on Google or Microsoft.

Who does what

The client keeps ownership of every decision. The team listens and points the client to the right desk.

2 Rebecca: CFO oversight

What happens

Rebecca looks at the plan the way a CFO would: does each cost reconcile, and is each invoice separate and accountable?

What data flows

Proposed fees and agreements, set side by side so every line can be checked against paper.

Who does what

Rebecca gives finance oversight. Legal, tax and insurance decisions go to the appropriate qualified professionals.

3 HR & payroll with client control

What happens

Under a PEO arrangement, designated admin duties move to the PEO under the client service agreement (CSA): payroll processing, tax deposits, benefits admin and workers’ comp paperwork.

What data flows

A census (names, pay types, states worked, benefit elections), the payroll funding bank account, and a written note of who may approve a pay run.

Who does what

The client hires, fires, sets pay and supervises the work. The PEO layer processes and files as the CSA assigns. If anything conflicts, the signed CSA wins. PEO guide ↗

4 Insurance & safety tools

What happens

Workers’ comp and business coverage quotes run through ERGO NEXT. Background checks, motor vehicle records and drug testing are available through Lab Testing Solutions service channels via HRTS.

What data flows

Business details for a quote, and screening orders under permissions that are defined before anything starts.

Who does what

The carrier decides eligibility, coverage and premium, and the client pays the carrier. RJEC is not the insurer. Insurance ↗ · HRTS ↗

5 Technology partners

What happens

The team maps the employer’s tools and integration needs before quoting any project. Google and Microsoft workflows are scoped separately.

What data flows

Which accounts, permissions and workflows the employer already uses. Mail and keys sit in a shop mailbox, not a personal inbox.

Who does what

Technology partners scope and build. The client keeps its own accounts and pays its own vendors (Microsoft, Google, domain, hosting).

6 Real-world asset tokenization via RJEC

What happens

Once the insurance, tax and operating foundations are in place, RJEC provides education on where capital and real-world asset tokenization might fit.

What data flows

Educational material only, with no transactions on this site.

Who does what

Any individual decision needs qualified legal, tax and financial review. This is not an offer of securities or tokens, and any tokenization is subject to applicable regulations.

A day in the life of a client

What working together actually looks like.

Morning: census and money

The owner confirms the census: names, pay types and states worked. The payroll funding account is set, and the person allowed to release payroll is written down.

Midday: payroll dry run

A test register comes back. If a deduction can’t be explained, the run stops before going live. The owner approves the run, and the PEO layer processes it under the CSA.

Afternoon: coverage and screening

A workers’ comp quote request goes through ERGO NEXT, and a new hire’s background check or drug test is ordered through the screening channel.

Evening: CFO review

Rebecca’s lens: every line on payroll, insurance, cloud and machine invoices lines up with a written agreement, and nothing is blended.

An illustrative sequence based on the RJEC PEO guide’s week-one steps. Real timing depends on the client and the signed agreements.

HR & payroll

ADP-style services. The client stays in control.

Rebecca now has a team for HR products like the ones ADP offers. The owner still makes the people decisions, and the admin work runs through clearly defined desks.

You keep the people

Hiring, firing, pay rates and day-to-day supervision stay with the business. Under a PEO, designated admin duties are spelled out in the client service agreement.

PEO guide ↗

Payroll that reconciles

Pay runs, tax deposits, garnishments and W-2 season, with a named person approving each run. That’s a CFO’s view of payroll.

Payroll desk ↗

Separate invoices

Payroll, insurance, cloud and hardware stay separate purchases, so every line on the bill can be checked against paper.

RJEC services ↗

Educational overview, not legal, tax or HR advice. RJ Employer Consulting is not ADP and does not resell ADP. Specific arrangements depend on the signed agreement.

Insurance & safety tools

Risk, screening and safety, connected to the operation.

Insurance quotes

Workers’ compensation and business coverage quotes go through ERGO NEXT on the RJEC insurance desk. Carriers decide eligibility, coverage and premium, and RJEC is not the insurance company. insurance.rjemployerconsulting.com ↗

Screening & workplace safety

HR Testing Solutions works with Lab Testing Solutions service channels for background checks, motor vehicle records and drug testing. hrtestingsolutions.com ↗

Partner channel

HRTS brings insurance agents, HR consultants, payroll and technology partners, and independent distributors into one approach to employer services. A person reviews every agreement.

Technology partners

Like-minded builders who see AI in a unique way.

Rebecca works with technology experts who use AI to make employer operations clearer: mapping each client’s Google or Microsoft workflow, putting the business stack on the books as an asset, and keeping a person accountable for every consequential decision.

Real-world assets

From the ledger to real-world asset tokenization, via RJEC.

A CFO’s discipline applies all the way to how assets are documented and represented on-chain. RJEC provides education and scoping on real-world asset tokenization, starting from sound insurance, tax and capital foundations.

FAQ

Short answers.

Does a PEO mean I lose control of my company?

No. You keep hiring, firing, culture and operations. The PEO takes on designated admin duties under the client service agreement.

Is this ADP?

It’s the same category of work from a different company. RJ Employer Consulting does not resell ADP. Compare the documents, not the logos.

Is RJEC the insurance company?

No. Quotes may run through ERGO NEXT, and carriers decide eligibility, coverage and premium. RJ may receive compensation when someone uses the quote link.

Do I have to buy everything together?

No. Insurance, membership, technology work and any PEO agreement are separate purchases.

What screening services are available?

Background checks, motor vehicle records and drug testing through existing Lab Testing Solutions service channels, with ordering and permissions defined first.

Is tokenization an investment offer?

No. Real-world asset tokenization via RJEC is educational here. It is subject to applicable regulations and needs qualified professional review.
